Handcrafted from premium roughout nubuck leather, The James features a soft, broken-in feel with the structure to stand up to long nights and hard use. A bold 12-inch shaft and a streamlined, supportive fit provide stability without sacrificing movement. Thoughtfully weighted leather and sole construction make it lighter and more flexible than traditional dancehall boots, yet more substantial and grounded than our ultra-thin Showtime styles.

Finished with our signature GOAT sole, The James is engineered for smooth, confident movement on any surface—hardwood floors, concrete, tile, or dirt—so you never have to think twice about where you’re headed next.

How to Measure Your Foot for the Perfect Forever Country Boot Fit:

  1. Wear your regular socks or stockings.
  2. Measure the heel-to-toe length of your right foot’s longest toe in centimeters.
  3. Measure the heel-to-toe length of your left foot’s longest toe in centimeters.
  4. Use the larger measurement as your true foot length.

Sizing Tips:

  • Check our sizing chart to find your US size based on your foot length.
  • Forever Country boots are currently made in standard (D) width.
  • For Wide (E), go half a size up (0.5 cm).
  • For Extra Wide (EE), go a full size up (1 cm).

  • Based on our team’s fit experience, we recommend going one size down from your standard sneaker size for the best fit.

If your boots feel a little snug in the toe box, instep, or calf, we’ve got you covered. We offer complimentary stretching to help you get the perfect fit.

If you’d like us to pre-stretch your boots before they ship, just leave a note in the “Special Instructions” box at checkout.

You can also try them on at home and send them back using the prepaid return label—we’ll stretch them and ship them back to you at no cost.
