Boot Care

Caring for your Forever Country boots is important to keep them in great condition. Here some essential care instructions for boots:

  1. Clean After Each Wear:
    • Remove dirt and dust with a soft brush or damp cloth.
    • For stubborn dirt, use a damp cloth with mild soap, then wipe clean and dry thoroughly.
  2. Condition Leather Regularly:
    • Apply a leather conditioner or leather oil every 3-6 months to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking.
    • Use a soft cloth to evenly spread the conditioner, then let it absorb.
  3. Polish for Shine:
    • Use a high-quality leather polish or cream to maintain shine and color. (Forever Country boot polish coming soon!)
    • Buff with a soft cloth after applying.
  4. Protect from Water and Moisture:
    • Apply a waterproofing spray designed for leather to protect against moisture.
    • Avoid submerging boots in water; if they get wet, let them air dry naturally away from direct heat.
  5. Store Properly:
    • Keep boots in a cool, dry place.
    • Use boot trees or stuff the toes with newspaper to maintain shape.
    • Avoid stacking or crushing them.
  6. Handle Soles and Heels:
    • Check soles and heels regularly for wear.
    • Have worn-out soles or heels repaired or replaced by a cobbler to prolong the life of your boots. (Forever Country GOAT replacement soles coming soon!)
  7. Avoid Excessive Heat and Sunlight:
    • Prolonged exposure can dry out and discolor leather.
  8. Be Mindful of Stains:
    • Treat stains promptly with appropriate leather cleaners.
    • For stubborn stains, consult a professional.

Following these steps will help your Forever Country boots durable, comfortable, and stylish for years to come!
