Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions

Are Forever Country Boots only for dancers?

Not at all. Our boots are designed by dancers, which means they’re engineered for exceptional comfort, flexibility, and movement. If they can handle the demands of the dance floor, they’ll keep you comfortable anywhere—from concerts and tailgates to everyday wear.

What makes Forever Country Boots different from standard cowboy boots?

Most cowboy boots are heavy, stiff, and built primarily for traditional wear. Forever Country Boots are handcrafted with premium leather uppers and our patent-pending GOAT Soles—engineered in Dallas, Texas—for lightweight comfort, flexibility, and durability. They’re designed to let you move, glide, and stand out without compromising authentic Western style.

What is the difference between the collections?

Heritage Collection
Our traditional everyday cowboy boot, offering the most support and durability.

Frontier Collection
Our lighter, more flexible everyday dance boot, designed for enhanced movement and responsiveness.

Both collections are handcrafted with our signature GOAT outsole and built to take you from the dance floor to everyday life.

Where are your products manufactured?

Our products are manufactured both locally and globally. We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure our products are high quality and a fair value.

How do I find my correct size?

We recommend starting with your true shoe size. Our sizing guide walks you through measuring your feet for the best fit.

Based on our fit experience, we generally recommend ordering one size down from your standard sneaker size.

You can also visit us at events for an in-person fitting or contact our team for personalized sizing assistance.

Where are Forever Country Boots made?

Each pair is handcrafted by expert artisans in León, Mexico—the cowboy boot capital of the world. Our patent-pending GOAT Soles are proudly manufactured in Dallas, Texas. Together, that means timeless craftsmanship and modern performance in every step.

How do Forever Country Boots fit?

Forever Country Boots are currently available in standard (D) width.

  • Standard Width (D): Order one size down from your typical sneaker size.
  • Wide (E): Go up half a size (approximately 0.5 cm).
  • Extra Wide (EE): Go up one full size (approximately 1 cm).

For the most accurate fit:

  1. Wear your regular socks.
  2. Measure both feet from heel to longest toe in centimeters.
  3. Use the larger measurement.
  4. Compare your measurement to our sizing chart.

Measuring your feet helps ensure the best fit and reduces the chance of returns.

What if my boots don’t fit?

We’ve got you covered.

If your boots feel snug in the toe box, instep, or calf, we offer complimentary stretching to help achieve the perfect fit.

You have two options:

  • Leave a note in the Special Instructions box at checkout if you’d like us to pre-stretch your boots before shipping.
  • Try them on at home and, if needed, use the prepaid return label to send them back. We’ll stretch them and ship them back to you at no cost.
What areas can you stretch?

We can professionally stretch the:

  • Toe box
  • Instep
  • Calf

Our complimentary stretching service helps customize your boots for a more comfortable fit before or after purchase.

What’s the break-in period?

Like any quality leather boot, Forever Country Boots are designed to mold to your feet over time, creating a fit that’s uniquely yours.

Heritage Collection

  • Begins softening after approximately 5–10 hours of wear.
  • Fully breaks in after about 2–4 weeks of regular use.

Frontier Collection

  • Premium leather offers a softer feel immediately.
  • Typically breaks in within 1–2 weeks of regular wear.
What should I expect during the break-in period?
  • Your boots should feel snug—not painful.
  • The leather will gradually soften and conform to your feet.
  • Some heel slip during the first few wears is completely normal.
  • Regular walking and dancing will help speed up the process.

Pro Tip: Use the plastic bags included with your boots to help slide your feet in during the first several wears. As the leather relaxes, putting your boots on and taking them off becomes much easier.

How do I care for my boots?

To keep your boots looking and performing their best:

  • Clean dirt and dust after wear.
  • Condition the leather regularly to keep it soft and hydrated.
  • Use Forever Country Boot Polish and buff with a soft cloth after applying.
  • Protect them from excessive moisture.
  • Store them in a cool, dry place.

With proper care, your Forever Country Boots will last for years.

Can I wear Forever Country Boots outside of the dancehall?

Absolutely. Our GOAT Soles are engineered to perform on hardwood, concrete, tile, dirt, and sawdust. Whether you’re dancing, working, traveling, tailgating, or simply enjoying everyday life, Forever Country Boots are built to move with you.

What is your return and exchange policy?

We want you to love your boots.

If you need a different size or decide they’re not the right fit, we offer easy returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase.

If you’re requesting a replacement due to a defect or product issue, we’ll send a replacement once the original pair is returned.
