These boots are perfect! The high quality materials and design are apparent. The GOAT (Glide On Any Texture) soles are amazing, as I dance on concrete, cobblestone, sawdust covered resin-coated floors, as well as slick wooden dance halls. The alternative for me was a much more expensive "dance boot" made for competitive 2-step, but soles made with all-leather or all-suede won't hold up to the elements. Last night, for example, was wet and drizzling, and my boots held up because I didn't have to be afraid of puddles. Whether I'm doing line dancing, 2-step, or country-swing... these have just the right grip and slide to execute flawlessly. Year-round, we have outdoor country music festivals, and I won't need to carry cumbersome "boot bags" with me; I can just wear these boots and then jump on the outdoor dance floor. In any genre of dance, whether it be hip hop, latin, swing, etc... they say the shoes are the most important prerequisite for success. These boots fit the bill for me! Plus, the customer service was fantastic! I had to exchange the boots a few times in order to get the right size and fit, and the returns process was very smooth and easy. Thank you!
